When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

{"i wanna a love like johnny and june
rings of fire, burnin' with you i wanna walk the line, walk the line 'till the end of time i wanna love, love you that much cash it all in, give it all up and when your gone, I wanna go too like johnny and june" --heidi newfield i was inspired to do a dialogue after reading some by mine isn't anywhere in the vicinity of her brilliance, but i enjoyed it. Commentsoooh, this is lovely. i love well-done dialogues. the speakers separate entities, the words flowed wonderfully...well, well done.
the only line that seemed out of place to me was this: "You shouldnt love me, its a poor life choice." something about that second part just did not gel with me the way the rest of the piece did. whether that is due to my own taste or something else i do not know, but i figured i should point it out. that said, i love the last line. speaking part. whatever you would call it. beautiful. i will have to reread this one, methinks. -- Now be a good little girl and drink your medicine... Very well stated, indeed.
And, the final points of how to be loved:
"...if you have to love me, ...[l]ove me when I’m cursing at the GPS because it took me to the-middle-of-nowhere when I clearly said ...California. Love me when I’m ... in wrinkled jeans and a stained shirt that I Febreezed and called clean. Love me when I forgot what you said, forgot your birthday and remembered the stats of the last game.... Love me then.
And, how love:
"I’ll love you when you’re sitting in the middle of a million shoes complaining that none will work. I’ll love you when you forget to check the oil, forgot to fill the gas tank, forgot to roll up the windows when you parked. I’ll love you when you burn dinner, when you won’t get off the phone, when you cry at a movie you’ve seen twenty times before."
I found your tale exceptionally worded, to say the least.
This is one of my favorites from you.
That makes it all the better, and I have to agree with the boy(?). That no one should love like people do in books.
Because there's never really a "happy ever after", look at Cinderella. She had three Disney movies.
I think my favourite lines are at the end. With loving like the tides and the moon. Because you really do have to love people when they "wax and wane" and during the "low tides and during the high" because otherwise you never really see those people. Love isn't about changing people to be what you want them to be. It's about accepting and loving their faults.
Amazing as always hun
