We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Did I say that?
"run through the
hurricane until the wind
tastes like wisdom and
your tongue still rejects
the bitter aftertaste." was a line that spoke most to me. I think that this was because it speaks of tasting wisdom and spitting it back out. Like gaining knowledge and throwing it away because you want to go through the thrill of discovery again.
You know that this felt like? Dancing holes into you socks, all the way through the balls of your feet.
