"we still haven't found our feet but we're finding them together, stumbling with weak knees and splintering ankles, laughing as we tumble down together. because we're nothing new and nothing old" I think I love this piece most because of how it erases everything. It's learning as you go, hitting the ground running and never stopping, you'll find out where your going when you get there, and anywhere, there's no time to worry about destination when you've got the journey itself to discover on the way!

This is fresh and free and feels somehow like the ocean.

Reminds me of the quote "I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I learn by going where I need to go" but at the same time is nothing like it. I take the 'I learn by going, where I need to go' part of the last line to this as opposed to the 'I learn by going where I need to go' take of it.

Amazing. I have to agree with you, things WILL just come out of nowhere. That's how I spent twelve hours writing music yesterday. Keyboards, strings, guitars, drums, bass. Pulling sound from where there was silence.

"we're the most beautiful maybe in the world." I can agree with this line, because my girlfriend and I have been a maybe since I first realized I had feelings for her a few years back, but distance has always kept me from it. She never became a what if because we've always been friends the whole time, just hard to keep communication flowing when one gets busy. Then I realized that maybe what I've been looking for in my hometown has been under my nose and in Colorado.

Life is full of chances that should be taken, and so far this leap of faith hasn't let me fall yet. I'm hanging in midair on a strong current of love and happiness.

I LOVE that line! Like, if it was legal to do so, I would marry that mine and make it have my babies. And I love this piece all together. And I love you all together. And love is all around!
